Infant and Toddler Curriculum Philosophy
Our Child Care curriculum is based on the award-winning, reasearch-based Creative Curriculum. The Creative Curriculum features exploration and discovery as a way of learning, enabling children to develop confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills. It is based on 38 objectives for development and learning that are fully aligned with the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework and state early learning standards.
Included in all programs is a nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks. All food is prepared in-house by our kitchen staff.
6 weeks to 11 months
In our infant room, educators will focus on primarily areas of development with your precious one. These areas of development provide emotional, social, communication, motor skills and cognitive skills. These skills facilitate your infant’s success as they transition into toddlers, with their unique needs and wants. You will receive “daily reports” letting you know about your child’s daily progress.
12 months to 23 months
Our toddlers become independent in a caring, supportive environment. Educators work with children to foster their development and to encourage their discovery play. Quiet and active times are combined to give toddlers a consistent routine that facilitates their learning. Children are engaged in many sensory activities to stimulate and develop their growing vocabulary.
